Requirements:

- Instrumentalists must be under 26 years of age

- Vocalists must be under 30

- The student must be a full-time music major at a college, university or music school, or a graduating high school senior accepted for admission as a full-time music major in the Fall of 2012.

-Contestants must be residents of the South Hills of Allegheny or Washington Counties, Pennsylvania.
