Applications include the quartets' and each member's CV and a CD with three works of the repertoire: at least movements one and two of both classic (Haydn and/or Mozart) and a romantic works. Selection and invitation of participants are at the master's discretion. The course is designed for two to four quartets and open to the public.

A final concert is planned for Friday, August 31, 2012, 11am in the Angelika Kauffmann Saal, Schwarzenberg.

Registration: Fee before January 1, 2012 is EUR 100 (EUR 150 thereafter until closure on May 31, 2012) per musician charged by RHL-Foundation.

Accommodation: Self-catering holiday apartments including free lunch of charge in Schwarzenberg. Traveling costs at own expense.

The Adelphi Chamber Orchestra is now accepting applications for their upcoming Young Artist Competition.

This NEW Annual Competition is open to student musicians in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.

A winner will be awarded a SOLO APPEARANCE in their ASPIRING YOUNG ARTIST SHOWCASE CONCERT on March 11, 2012.

Instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Flute, Clarinet, Oboe

Ages: Up to 21
Junior Division: Up to Age 21 (birth date on or after 1/1/97)
Senior Division: Up to Age 21 (birth date on or after 1/1/90)

FIRST PRIZE: A Savings Bond and a SOLO PERFORMANCE with the ACO at the ASPIRING YOUNG ARTIST SHOWCASE CONCERT on March 11, 2012.
