Job Posting - Guitar

Position Title: Guitar Faculty/Instructor (Immediate Opening)

Job Summary:

Concordia Conservatory, a divisional community music and art school of Concordia College – New York in Bronxville, is seeking an experienced guitar faculty for a replacement leave position. The position includes Saturday private instruction and Suzuki guitar class (pre-twinkle); teaching students ranging in age from 4 through adult in beginning, intermediate and advanced levels; must be available Saturdays 9:00 am – 2:00pm. The position is open immediately (starting March 12) with additional teaching opportunities pending candidate’s availability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field, Master’s or Doctorate preferred; a minimum of 3-5 years experience in an academic or community music school environment; customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal relationship building skills; team-oriented; and ability to motivate and solve problems; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to understand and be committed to the College's mission; valid and clean drivers license.

Salary:

Hourly rate/compensation will commensurate with experience
