The Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival at MASS MoCA will be from July 9-29, 2012. We welcome applicants from all over the globe who are at least 21 years old. Performance applicants please note that we encourage a diversity of instruments, and we include the voice as an instrument (singers are welcome to apply). You do not have to play an instrument included on our faculty to attend the program.
A forty dollar ($40 USD) non-refundable application fee is required.
All applicants will be notified of the decisions in late-February, early-March.
The tuition fee for the Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival is one thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars ($1,750 USD) and includes room and board. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due upon acceptance to the program. Payment in full is due in June.
Room and Board (included in tuition fee) -- Accommodations for the Festival are provided by MASS MoCA within walking distance to the museum. Accommodations are double occupancy.
Lunch and dinner are provided Mon-Fri. Participants are responsible for all other meals. There are several local inexpensive eateries near the museum.
All participants are responsible for transportation to and from MASS MoCA. Information about transportation will be provided.
